Tee

Yes, it's cooking! My name is Tee. I grew up by the ocean in an amazing multicutural foodie city in West Malaysia. I have lived in one of the most rural town in East Malaysia where friendly local native women sold fiddlehead ferns and hill paddy in the street markets. My first experience with soft, fluffy snow was when I was a student in the most greenest city in Southwest England. Home is now in the Western Great Plains in the US. Ice storms are common during the winter time here. When I first arrived in the Great Plains, I found the Mother Road fascinating. Hence, Route 66 is the central theme in all my posts.

It’s Day 4. What’s new? Cloudy, dribbly BC-style. But there’s just something about this cloudy-dribbly day. I hate to say it. It’s beautiful. So it’s brunch time. When it’s cold out, I crave for hot. Hankering for some wild Indian spices, we sped off to D.C. (Dosa Corner). Lamb curry X-TRA spicy was highly recommended …

Day 2 in BC. Really? (Pinch, pinch). Rise and “shine”, Beautiful City.  🙂 We woke up to A.M. drizzles. If waking up was hard to do, decision-making was even harder. With only four days to venture around Vancouver, Mr. Chi-Town and I caught ourselves silently going back-and forth with our to-do list. Priorities change once …

Part 2: Tee’s Trip to the Pacific Northwest

Hi there! Welcome to Part 11. Thank you for (re)visiting As it Cooks.  🙂 Long time, no blog. No blog, no fun. But it’s a can’t do it all, can’t have it all world, folks. Truth is I’ve been having a blast since the summer break began. A much needed break for sure. I’m a …
